Rtips. Revival 2012!

چکیده
The original Rtips started in 1999. It became difficult to update because of limitations in the software with which it was created. Now I know more about R, and have decided to wade in again. In January, 2012, I took the FaqManager HTML output and converted it to LTEX with the excellent open source program pandoc, and from there I’ve been editing and updating it in LYX. From here on out, the latest html version will be at http://pj.freefaculty.org/R/Rtips. html and the PDF for the same will be

Rtips: fast and accurate tools for RNA 2D structure prediction using integer programming
We present a web-based tool set Rtips for fast and accurate prediction of RNA 2D complex structures. Rtips comprises two computational tools based on integer programming, IPknot for predicting RNA secondary structures with pseudoknots and RactIP for predicting RNA-RNA interactions with kissing hairpins. Both servers can run much faster than existing services with the same purpose on large data ...
متن کاملEchoes and revival echoes in systems of anharmonically confined atoms
We study echoes and what we call “revival echoes” for a collection of atoms that are described by a single quantum wave function and are confined in a weakly anharmonic trap. The echoes and revival echoes are induced by applying two successive temporally localized potential perturbations to the confining potential, one at time t = 0, and a smaller one at time t = τ . Pulselike responses in the ...
متن کاملSpin squeezing under non-Markovian channels by the hierarchy equation method
We study the decoherence of spin squeezing under non-Markovian channels and consider an ensemble of N independent spin-1/2 particles with exchange symmetry. Each spin interacts with its own bath, and the baths are independent and identical. For this kind of open system, the spin squeezing under decoherence can be investigated from the dynamics of the local expectations. The reduced dynamics is ...
متن کاملLessons from the Hebrew Revival Applicable to the Reclamation, Maintenance and Empowerment of Aboriginal Languages and Cultures GHIL‘AD ZUCKERMANN and MICHAEL WALSH
The revival of Hebrew is so far the most successful known reclamation of a sleeping tongue and is a language movement that has been in progress for more than 120 years. By comparison, language revival movements in Australia are in their infancy. This paper provides comparative insights and makes information about the Hebrew revival accessible to Australian linguists and Aboriginal revival activ...
